Jessie Ware’s “Champagne Kisses” video is a great example of a set designer doing his or her job to the fullest. Vividly stunning and vibrant, director Christopher Sweeney achieves one of the desired goals of modern design, which is to make minimalism engaging. Now mind you, there are some weird moments in the video such as the image of a guy twisting around her body, not to mention duplicate images of Ware with her hair seemingly connected.
