UK soul fixture Jamie Lidell will release his sixth studio album Building A Beginning on October 14th. Forthcoming on Jajulin Records, the new record delves deeper into Lidell’s personal life with influences of the album ranging from love and the birth of his son. Building A Beginning also features contributions from high-powered musicians including Pino Palladino, DaRu Jones and more.

Touching on the inspiration behind Building A Beginning, Jamie Lidell wrote:

“I wanted to write something that he wants to jump around to. The energy and joy that’s now in our life.”
