South London duo Internet Cafe, comprised of Imi Smith and Luke Ferrero, have released their debut single ‘Sign of the Times’, which was co-written with none other than Låpsley.

The song is a melodic pop meets r&b offering with the rhythm foundation being that of drum and bass. The silky smooth sonics, which are laced with atmospheric synth lines and twinkling effects, are a true atmospheric soundscape, with the d&B drum programming giving it enough pep for the clubs. We definitely can’t wait to hear more from the promising outfit.

Touching on the single, Internet Cafe mentioned:

“We’re beyond excited to finally be releasing our debut single, ‘Sign of the Times’. We met on a dating app 4 years ago and instantly bonded over a mutual love for breaks, bass, and alt-pop. This single focuses on the shared stresses of our disconnected generation and the pressures of trying to build a life as a young person in a big city.”
