The show was Saturday September 29th at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles. Killer Mike performed some of past hits like The “Whole World” and newer material like “Ric Flair” and “Ronald Reagan”. He even jumped in the crowd during his rendition of “Kryptonite” and smoked out with some of his stoner fans. After Mike’s set, GZA came out to an incredible amount of applause and love from the room. He performed material from his classic album “Liquid Swords”. “Labels”, “Gold” ,and the “Duel of the Iron Mic” had peeps singing along word for word. Everyone started to go crazy when he stopped the show to dedicate a moment for fallen Wu member ODB. After the dedication, GZA then fired off verses from his guest spots on songs from the vast Wu library. With a new generation of fans and a 20 year anniversary tour coming up, the Wu Legacy will continue to grow.
