Goldfrapp has announced that they will be releasing a new album titled “Tales of Us” which is marks their album after the 2010 LP “Head First”. Scheduled to drop 9th September on the Mute label, the duo have also stated that there will be limited edition boxsets containing the CD, vinyl, a bonus disc, a 12″ print as well as a 40 page hardback book.

The new record, according to a statement made on their official website, will hint influences of the acoustics of David Lynch.

Goldfrapp have also teamed up with filmmaker Lisa Gunning for series of short films that will go along with the album. Below is the first installment of the series.
