Florence + The Machine have made a return a new single titled ‘Moderation’. Like the familiar sound that has made the band a household name, the tune is production-rich with a 60s pop underlay. There are of course there are big gospel style backing vocals jumping behind Florence Welch whilst the instrumentation remains lively and spirited.

The band have also shared a second cut called ‘Haunted House’ which is a drop in tempo and a bit more minimal. Dark piano riffs act as the backbone as Welch delivers more of a skeletal and naked vocal performance.
