Press:
Farmfestival is extremely proud to announce a UK festival exclusive.
Pioneering French dance rockers Black Strobe will be making the trip over The Channel especially to headline Farmfest 2013.
Black Strobe’s 16 year career has seen them continually push the boundaries in the clubs and on the live stage; defying genres and pre-conceptions. From early hit ‘Me and Madonna’ their sound has developed in a myriad of ways with the dark disco of latest ep ‘The Girl from the Bayou’ a delicious taster for their new album set to drop later in the year. Their Tarantino-esque track ‘I’m a Man’ recently featured on a trailer for Django Unchained.
Joining Black Strobe on the live stages at this year’s Farmfestival will be Gramme showcasing their superb debut album ‘Fascination’, 14 years on from their cult EP on Trevor Jackson’s Output label.
The Lovely Eggs return with material from their latest LP Wildlife and the fledgling Thumpers will be making waves with their drum heavy indie pop.
Legendary Djs and producers Chicken Lips will also be contributing their significant skills and funked up record collection to the late night soundtrack. Their Classic ‘He Not In’ recently getting the remix treatment by Eats Everything and Groove Armada.
In other news, the Civilisation of the Rough (COR) tent have signed up Luke Unabomber as their headliner for the weekend.
