One of the most influential acts in dance music, Faithless, will celebrate 20 years of their career with the release of a new remix LP entitled Faithless 2.0. Recruiting various artists across the realm of electronica, acts such as Tiesto, Rudimental, Avicii and Armin Van Buuren, just to name a few, have reworked some of Faithless’ monumental songs including ‘Mass Destruction’, ‘Insomnia’ and ‘God is a DJ’. Faithless 2.0 is set to be released sometime in September.
Consisting of Maxi Jazz, Sister Bliss and Rollo, Faithless formed in 1995 with their debut album Reverence released in 1996. Critically praised the LP featured their chart-topping hit singles ‘Salva Mea’ and ‘Insomnia’. Having recorded six albums in total, their LP No Roots went Number 1 in the UK charts. In 2011, Faithless announced that the band would be ending, playing their last full show on April 8th at the O2 Academy in Brixton.
