Although these debates belong to music journalism, but no later than the first EPs from Mount Kimbie, the term post-dubstep made a circuit. With releases on Hotflush Recordings and especially with their second album “Cold Spring Fault Less Youth“, Dominic Maker and Kai Campos belong to the spearhead in bass-driven electronica. What can we say; we’re really looking forward to their debut DJ set in our Pool. Speaking about Hotflush, with two EPs on Scuba’s imprint as well as his Lazor Sword project on Modeselektor’s Monkeytown Records, the Berlin-based Lando expands his niche between heavily muscled house, raw dubstep and glitchy sounds. In addition to the Australian DJ Kate Miller, our fine resident Ewan Pearson will be your host for tonight too. Small entertainment tip: Since 2007, the Briton writes in pleasant personal columns on his webpage about early festival experiences, Donna Summer and much more. Check it out!

In the Boiler there won’t be taken any prisoners: after their eerily beautiful set last September, the Italian duo Dadub return to STATTBAD. Their live performance is a nihilistic jewel that will also include some tracks from their terrific debut „You Are Eternity“ from Stroboscopic Artefacts. In addition to CLR rookie Rebekah, our favorite Welshman Benjamin Damage will spread his electronica-meets-techno hybrid between Detroit and UK once again for you. After his floor hit “010x” on 50Weapons some surprises for 2014 are in the making, too. Stay curious! On Sunday morning, our resident Andrejko will ask the question how hard you really are. May the force be with you!
