Mel Bester aka E^ST has released her new EP Life Ain’t Always Roses. Comprised of seven cuts, the singer enlisted the likes of M-Phazes, Japanese Wallpaper and Dann Hume to handle the production. Pumping out a number of charismatic pop pieces, some consisting of Hip-Hop drum style underlays, Bester exhibits crafty songwriting as well sly vocal performances that she confidently owns with pride. The EP also includes her new single ‘Friends’, which is available for streaming below.

Regarding the EP, E^ST mentioned:

“Some of these songs were fun to write, others were difficult, some took a lot of thought and others none at all. But at the core, every song is super honest and I feel relieved to have written them.”
