On Feb. 10, 2012, legendary reggae singer Earl Sixteen performed with Bredda Neil of Holland’s King Shiloh Sound System at Espace Double Mixte in Villeurbanne, France. West London’s Word Sound & Power also played the night. Of course photographer Lucos aka Daddy Lucos was there to document the event.
Growing up in Kingston, Earl Sixteen began his musical career at as a youth later singing with various groups before recording at Lee “Scratch” Perry’s Black Ark Studio. Earl Sixteen has recorded with producers ranging from Augustus Pablo to Mikey Dread and more. The singer released a slew of albums including “Reggae Sounds”, “Shining Star” and “Showcase”. He eventually began working as a member of the UK band Dreadzone.
