Glasgow’s Declan Welsh & The Decadent West are another one of the city’s dynamic bands bursting from the powerful wave of talent exploding from the country. Dropping their debut LP Cheaply Bought, Expensively Sold back in 2019, the group have shared their latest cut ‘Parisian Friends’, the follow-up to their recent single ‘Another One’.

Taking the sound of indie and topping it with a punk icing, ‘Parisian Friends’ is a revving splash of rock & roll goodness that is powered by spiky guitar riffs, a thundering bass line and rumbling drums, with Declan Welsh spearheading the tune with saucy vocals and an utterly catchy chorus. An amazing release from the band, ‘Parisian Friends’ is taken from their forthcoming EP It’s Been a Year, out September 2nd.
