London-based DJ and producer Coldabank has dropped his new track ‘Never Be the Same’ via Sony Music.
Fully ready to be a dominating club record for the summer, the track is equipped with reverb dripping vocal samples, 90s style plucky piano riffs, and driving 4×4 drums. The melodic element of the record puts it slightly in deep house territory, however the jump up rhythm of the tune is surely tailor made for peak time raving. Have a listen.
Touching on the song, Coldabank stated:
“This track started off at a really slow tempo with a quirky sample and a retro movie feel. Got Hannah Boleyn in and made this jazzy vocal which felt very cool and different. I played with speeding it up and juxtaposing the sample with a slappy, upfront club groove, and the result feels like some kinda James Bond Tech House banger, with earworm tendencies, perfect for driving off into the sunset.”
