A year ago Bristol band The Jacques released their punk-furious EP The Artful Dodger. Raw and unfiltered, the young band captured an authentic spirit of punk’s golden age in the UK. Now with a debut album in the works, the group have brought forth their latest single ‘Eleanor Ring Me’. Like their previous work, The Jacques rock out with unapologetic punk possessing a grit and glory that is doing the scene more than proud.
Regarding ‘Eleanor Ring Me’, in a press statement The Jacques wrote:
“This tune is a kick at the people and things that we are distancing ourselves from now. I don’t think that lyrically it needs making sense of, but those who wish to interpret it will do that anyway of course. As I said though, just a kick.”
The Jacques have also embarked on a series of shows throughout the UK. Check the listing below for dates and cities.
