Boy Harsher have released their Careful Remixes, etc. package which includes an impressive batch of reworks from the likes of Marcel Dettmann, Silent Servant, Minimal Violence and more. Remixing the songs ‘Come Closer’, ‘Tears’ and ‘LA’, the coldwave / post-punk band have shared the visuals for their song ‘LA’, reworked by Rabit. Directed by Kathleen Dycaico, the two characters of Hunter and Harmony, represent a divide of consciousness, with one suffering from a wounded heart, the other hardened, equipped and ready to deal with the world’s realities.
Touching on the video, director Kathleen Dycaico said:
“Hunter and Harmony are two sides of a coin, faces vs face, field vs ground. Harmony is heartbroken in their burning house, inner mirror to complete environmental collapse. Hunter evolved ruthless to protect Harmony, and to face the outside world. Running in despair. Heavy the weight of desire. I loved our world.”
