At this point there isn’t much more to say about Black Thought that hasn’t been said before. Unquestionably one of the greatest emcees in Hip-Hop of all time, the Philly wordsmith has been giving fans a great amount of releases with projects like the Danger Mouse collaborative LP Cheat Codes and his Streams of Thought series. With his next collab album with El Michels Affair titled Glorious Game dropping April 14th via Big Crown Records, Thought and the boys unveil their new track entitled ‘That Girl’.

‘That Girl’ is a glistening ode to love of his life. Whilst the production is indeed soulful, the drums are actually quite experimental, which makes the song really interesting and defined. Of course Black Thought is masterful over the soundscape, which is to be expected. Nevertheless, we’re impatiently waiting for the album to land, especially given the previous single ‘Grateful’.
