In the year of 1998, Yasiin Bey (then known as Mos Def) and Talib Kweli released their critically acclaimed ‘Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star’. Whilst the two went on to have excellent careers, fans have been craving another Black Star album for literally over two decades.

A couple years back, news broke out that Yasiin Bey and Talib Kweli had recorded tracks with Madlib and a Black Star LP was definitely coming. However, a few hiccups in the release process prevented the album from coming out at the time.

After the long wait, Black Star have finally released their ‘No Fear of Time’ album. However, unlike the usual album rollout, the only way to actually stream the LP is to subscribe to Luminary, which also hosts The Midnight Miracle Podcast, hosted by Dave Chappelle, Yasiin Bey and Talib Kweli.

Although fans have to subscribe to gain access to the new album, Black Star have made their latest single ‘o.G.’ available for streaming, which you can check out below.
