Whenever one of our fave bands announce a new album, we perk with excitement. Automatic is one of those groups indeed. The trio have announced the release of their forthcoming third LP Is It Now?, which will be out later in 2025 via Stones Throw Records. They have also unveiled their new single and video which flaunt the same title.

Musically ‘Is It Now?’ harks back to Automatic’s post-punk and new wave sound of their debut album. With it’s open and spacious production, fused with their multi-vocal deliveries, the track is way too infectious, as well as just plain good.

The video is directed by Nicola and Juliana Giraffe. You can find Automatic packaging boxes to get them ready for delivery. The minimalist approach to the set design is extremely affective in the art of how it’s shot. You can watch the video down below.
