London’s Alpines have announced news regarding their upcoming third LP entitled Full Bloom. Scheduled to land November 16th, the record finds the duo further delving into their eclectic roots which include everything from soul to 90s rave and trip-hop.
Alpines have also shared their new track ‘Out of View’. Powered by mid-tempo, rave-style drum programming, light and lush synths are spread atop as singer Catherine Pockson gloriously drives the track safely home.
In a press statement detailing the song, Alpines said:
“Out of View was written in a period of time when we were both feeling very free and wanted to experiment with new sounds and ideas with no pressure or expectation. The weight and grittiness of the beat contrasts to the soaring and anthemic vocal. We wanted this track to have that striking uplifting quality, we were inspired by classic 90s rave anthems and the power of those vocals and lyrics to lift people and transcend them to another place.”
