Alison Mosshart is set to release a new spoken word album titled Sound Wheel on August 7th via Third Man Records. One of the pieces taken from the upcoming LP is the track ‘Animals’. Just a little over a minute in length, Mosshart has also dropped a self-directed video to accompany the track.

Alison Mosshart will also drop her book Car Ma, a collection of her art, photography, poetry and stories. The forthcoming work is also an ode to her love of cars, rock & roll and the experience of life on the road. Car Ma will get released on August 11th.
