Canadian singer Alexandria Maillot released her impressive sophomore LP Benevolence last year. One of the highlight songs on the album was the track ‘Someone to Keep You Warm’. She now unveils the official video to the cut. Directed by Brendan Taylor, the story revolves around a guy who can’t sleep and begins to suffer from that feeling of being alone to the point of hallucination. Having continuous visions of two women frantically dancing around him, paranoia forces him to run outside with fear. The visuals perfectly coincide with the haunting atmosphere of the song.
Regarding the video, Alexandria Maillot mentioned:
“Sometimes, loneliness can feel like you’re under attack, and there’s nothing else to do but run for your life.”
