Directed by Xavier Dolan, Adele reminisces on the past with memories of a lover who has packed his things and left. There are scenes of Adele singing in the forest with a phone box covered in weeds, which is a symbol of the past. Not to make light of the situation, but whilst there are moments where the guy is arguing with her in the rain, we wonder if this occurrence is pre or post Adele being a mega-star. If it is post, then sorry to break the news to the poor sap but, he’s pretty much out of luck no matter which way the dice turns.
