Dublin’s Christian Cohle makes his return with the new track ‘Levitate’. The song is the follow-up to his 2025 single ‘Oh It Must Be Nice’.

Tapping into classic new wave sonics, ‘Levitiate’ is built on a funky, rubbery bass line, 4×4 drum thumps, and spacey, sweltering synths that are instantly addicting. Cohle’s vocal weaving between traditional to almost sporadically emotive fits the tune like a hand in glove. A truly enjoyable release, hopefully this is an indication of an album coming down the pipeline in the near future.

“In my head, Levitate is a Talking Heads/LCD Soundsystem song. Groovy bassline, four-to-the-floor forward-moving. It’s unruly and bold. I had a lot of fun recording it. Sometimes when making music, I hit a vein, and something erupts. Levitate was one of those.”
