Michael Kiwanuka will release his new album ‘Small Changes’ on November 15th. The record serves as the follow-up to his 2019 critically acclaimed LP ‘Kiwanuka’. Having released his lush track ‘Lowdown (parts i and ii)’ last month, the London crooner now steps up with his latest single ‘Rebel Soul’.

Similar to ‘Lowdown (parts i and ii)’, ‘Rebel Soul’ is moody and atmospheric. There is a melancholic feel to not only the production but Kiwanuka’s vocal performance. With haunting circling piano riffs running throughout the song, as well as tender strings gently placed underneath ‘Rebel Soul’ pierces Like an arrow piercing straight to the heart. Michael Kiwanuka continues to present records of depth and power.
