Toronto outfit Dermabrasion is the duo comprised of Adam Bernhardt and Kat McGouran, formerly of the punk band WLMRT. Coming together again in 2021 with this current project, they dropped their demo ‘Lunate’ that same year. With a debut album titled Pain Behaviour forthcoming January 26th on Hand Drawn Dracula, Dermabrasion have unveiled the first single called ‘Goblin Dance’.

If one had to speculate something sonically dark based on the title, that would be a pretty accurate assumption. ‘Goblin Dance’ is an edgy blend of post-punk, industrial, and noise rock equipped with heavy, warped guitar lines, crushing drums and the riotous vocals of Kat McGouran.
