You can be rest assured that anything that musician Kate Clover drops, we’re going to be eager to listen. With an already impeccable track record of releases, the L.A. rocker has now unveiled a video for her cover of Nancy Sinatra’s 1965 tune ‘These Boots Are Made For Walkin”.
Completely transforming the original version into a darker, punchy post-punk meets desert rock meets rockabilly gem, Kate Clover’s rendition features artist Warren Thomas.
The Ryan Rosewall-directed video finds Clover and Thomas performing at the Monty Bar in Los Angeles to an initial dead and sleepy crowd. After a few minutes of rocking out on stage, the audience becomes more livelier by dancing and cheering, including a drunk guy at the bar who was originally passed out. Featured in the vid are also a pair of killer red western boots. Check it out!
