Maltese artist Yasmin Kuymizakis aka Joon is set to release her debut LP Dream Again on July 9th.

Having began the writing process a decade ago, Kuymizakis manifested the album into reality after suffering from a bad car accident. Eventually signing to Italians Do It Better, Joon’s forthcoming record is that vehicle expressing her overcoming of life’s previous challenges.

Joon has also unveiled a video for her single ‘Orqod’. Directed and edited by Joon herself, the visuals feature her in an angelic-like state whilst performing the track.

Touching on the album, Joon stated:

“During the writing of most of my songs I was sad about something – but I was dealing with it through making music. I make music to give advice to myself and to be optimistic. I’m trying to make myself feel better, by helping myself come out of that pain.”
