Hawaiian act Lionel Boy steps up with a video for his single ‘Flower Girl’, which is out now on Innovative Leisure. Directed by Casey Liu along with Lionel Boy himself, cleverly used shadows and projections decorate clips giving a surrealist interaction between the singer and the girl being projected.

‘Flower Girl’ marks Lionel Boy’s return since the release of his debut EP Who Is Dovey, which landed back in 2020.

Regarding the single, Lionel Boy said:

“This was the first track that Jonny Bell and I worked on. It’s about watching someone close to you become who they’re meant to be. I get to witness my partner grow everyday and succeed in places that bring her joy. It feels a lot like watching a flower blossom. She’s my flower girl.”
