Having released their song ‘Bring You Back’ a couple months back, Oslo band Jouska has unveiled their new single ‘Born In Cash’. A nice splash of otherworldly electropop, the track deals with finding the strength the step away from a not so great relationship. Musically the production is built on spacey synths and 4×4 drum kicks that morphs into crunchier, head-nodding thumps during the track’s breakdowns. You can stream ‘Born In Cash’ below.

Regarding the track, Jouska stated:

“It’s about toxic relationships and loving someone that constantly takes advantage of you and controls your every move. Torn between staying and leaving, you try to justify their behaviour, while at the same time wanting to confront them with all the resentment you keep buried deep inside.”
