Having played at the Montreux Jazz Festival, performed a show with Romeo, and worked with the likes of Richard Niles as well as Tom Wilding, just to name a few, singer and musician Nina Schofield has definitely been a busy woman over the past few years. Her vocal coaching/reaction videos on her YouTube channel have become extremely popular with vids garnishing hundreds of thousands of views. She also released her magical single ‘The Gift’ back in 2019, not to mention performed the track on the BBC drama ‘MotherFatherSon’. Returning in 2020, Nina Schofield unveiled her track ‘Ghost’, a gorgeous and lush pop offering exemplifying her skills in the craft.
Nina Schofield has now recorded a live version of her single ‘Ghost’ played in Southampton. Stunningly filmed by Glen Jevon, Schofield performs the song on an elegant Steinway piano with the result being as reeling as the original record. We have a premiere of the live rendition of ‘Ghost’ below.
Regarding the video, Nina Schofield mentioned:
“We filmed this video during some down time on another shoot and it was such an amazing experience being able to play ‘GHOST’ on this beautiful Steinway. The song started out as a piano vocal and it makes it so much more intimate when it’s live – every time I sing that song it takes me back to the emotions I had when writing it.”
