London band Weird Milk make their return with a new single titled ‘Is That Love?’. An ode to the acceptance of a love gone bad, musically the track pulls inspiration for whimsical 60s pop, as well as an 80s peppering that evokes an air of nostalgia. Incorporating a number of transitions within the song, Weird Milk are walking down a path previously strolled by acts such as The Last Shadow Puppets…and that’s definitely not a bad thing.
Touching on the single, Weird Milk’s Charlie Glover-Wright mentioned:
“The song itself is about a relationship turning sour as a lemon and the main character realising that they don’t need it anymore and they’ll be better off on their own.”
