Bingo, bowling and a dog in the Pacific Northwest are the subjects of Julia Shapiro’s ‘A Couple Highs’ video. Directed by Claire Buss, the cameras follow Shapiro around town as she goes on about her day enjoying the simplicity of life. With the video paying homage to Kelly Reichardt’s Wendy and Lucy, the scenery is quite peaceful actually and is a reminder that sometimes we just need to slow things down. The song is taken from Julia Shapiro’s forthcoming album Perfect Vision out June 14th on the Hardly Art imprint.
