Vancouver band Blonde Diamond have released their new EP Fantasy Love. Produced by Cameron Tatham, the six song record weaves between various genres including indie, synth pop and more. With each track having a cohesion to one another, Blonde Diamond have surely placed a strong emphasis on quality with every song boasting high production, pristine vocals and undoubtedly mainstream friendly without any compromising of integrity. Fantasy Love is currently out now.
Touching on the EP, singer Alexis Younge stated:
“I have always been drawn to the tension of the imagination, and the incredible worlds that it creates within your mind. More often than not, something that you’ve built up in your brain can be so terribly disappointing once you experience it in the real world.
Fantasy Love EP pushes the boundaries of the situations I’ve created in my mind as a form of escapism. Its creation provided me with the outlet I needed to process how I was feeling without having to ruin everything in reality. A lot of it is my own fantasy, but it is also an expression of complete honesty and truth.
Within that space, where fantasy and reality intersect, is where I prefer to exist. It has a little bit of everything that I need, and I live for the exciting vibration of not knowing what’s to come next.”
