Brighton band Thyla have been the talk among the press for the past year now, dropping tracks like ‘Ferris Wheel’, ‘Tell Each Other Lies’ and their recent ‘Blame’. With plans in the works to release their debut EP, the group step forth with a new song entitled ‘Candy’. Slowing down the tempo, the song is a sleek and well-polished crafting of alternative with an explosive breakdown on the chorus. Slicing guitar riffs streak behind the vocals of singer Millie Duthie, helping to make this one epic offering.
Regarding the song, the band stated:
“You know when you have impending doom and you have no idea why because there’s nothing specifically wrong that you can put your finger on, and your dreams are messed up, and when you wake up you wonder what they mean? That’s what ‘Candy’ is about.”
