If there is one label that we can usually rely on for consistently good music is Fierce Panda Records. The London-based label has released music from acts such as Coldplay, Nadine Shah and Death Cab For Cutie, just to name a few, with recent artists including Desperate Journalist, Park Hotel and Affairs.
Fierce Panda Records have now dropped their new Fierce Panda: Singles 2016 compilation, a collection of singles that were released throughout a year’s period. Backed by Arts Council England, the comp includes Park Hotel’s ‘Gone As A Friend’, National Service’s ‘A Little More Time’ and Coquin Migale’s ‘Grindie’. Some of the tracks have been supported by the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and BBC 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq.
