Releasing her debut EP ‘Changes’ back in 2011, London-based Kadija Kamara hits us with a fiery taste of soul with her new track ‘Alright’. Produced by Tony Hayden, Kamara’s strength as a vocalist is perfectly showcased as she commands the rhythm blend of alternative, garage and fierce soul. Having already gained support from the likes of BBC Radio 1xtra and more, it appears as if Kadija Kamara is ready to re-ignite her blazing flame.

Touching on ‘Alright’, Kadija Kamara wrote:

“This record is about facing your fears and obstacles, and never giving up. It is also about staying true to your heart. Acknowledging your internal wealth and not the materialistic things. It’s about holding your ground, no matter what people think or say about you. Sometimes the expectations of others can make you feel like you’re underachieving, but remember that you’re not in competition with anyone else but yourself. Thoughts about quitting can sometimes run through your head, but there is always a light at the other side of the tunnel. I just hope others can relate to this record.”
