South London’s All The People have unveiled their new single ‘Beach Club’. Taken from their forthcoming debut album ‘R Together’ out next year, the song is a soulful spear of moody spacey electronica, lush nu jazz and a notch of dark pop. With their last couple of songs supported by the likes of Gilles Peterson and Mistajam, it looks like ‘Beach Club’ will be no exception. This is a big one!
Describing ‘Beach Club’, All The People wrote:
“It’s reminiscent of memories of our childhood summers spent in caravan parks on the south coast where the actual beach club we refer to still stands. It actually started life as pure house track and then we played around with harmonies & took inspiration lyrically from ‘The Prophet’ by Kahlil Gabrain shaping it into a slightly melancholy, nostalgic song.”
