Whilst not one to shoo away from soulful, gospel-style melodies, Swedish singer Mavrick is aiming at making his brand of pop music monumental. This is exemplified in his latest single ‘Let It Burn’. Triumphant in production, Mavrick gives a strong piece of social commentary, addressing issues of the misuse of power and the recent string of police shootings in the U.S. The song is taken from his forthcoming EP Atlantis which is out now on Universal Music Sweden.

In a press statement regarding his music, Mavrick wrote:

“It’s all about getting people to feel something when they hear my music. The worst thing would be to leave anyone indifferent or unaffected.”
