If it’s one producer that you can count on for some of the finest and most sopisticated 4×4 sounds is New York producer Brian Cid. With a CV that is practically flawless, the artist has not only worked with the likes of Beyoncé, Snoop Dogg, Lady Gaga and more, he has also worked with legendary house mainstay Todd Terry. Having released material on various labels, including his own Extinct Records, Cid now returns with a monster of an EP titled Hidden. Comprised of two original cuts, the title is a sleek and enchanting taste of the deeper side of house whilst ‘Costa Verde’ is a marriage of rumbling percussion underneath dark-tech inceptions. The EP also includes remixes by producers Jon Charnis and Nico Stojan. Hidden is out August 18th via the San Francisco-based label Manjumasi.
