German duo Soukie & Windish will release their second LP LOOM on May 11 via their URSL imprint. Consisting of nine tracks, the pair cooks up a melting pop of deep house and tech, as well as ambient rhythms, generating an atmospheric and surreal result. Unafraid to venture into the lane of minimalism at times, the new album follows the group’s 2013 debut LP A Forest.

Touching on Loom, Soukie & Windish stated:

“For the first time [on LOOM], we rented a high end studio. There we made the final mix-down with Fadi Troit at the premises of Tobi Neumann at Riverside Studios in Berlin, using all those old modular devices, Jupiter synthesizers, 909s. An album people should listen to. Sit down and listen to. The mixing, the sounds and also how wicked the mastering is. This is not an album to do the house cleaning to. Nor is it suitable for sunshine pool-parties and cocktails. It is, in fact, an album for the autumn season, but it will be published in summer.”

Soukie & Windish have also shared the video to their track ‘Head up my Dear’ which you can watch below.
