Cecilia Stalin is the singer’s singer. Her golden voice has transcended any one given genre, having sung on everything stretching from Hip-Hop to jazz. Providing vocals for on one of Koop’s biggest tracks “Waltz for Koop”, Sweden-born, London-based Stalin has worked with Alesha Dixon, The Streets, Nicola Conte, Cinematic Orchestra and more. She was also the vocal coach of Eamonn Walker, for his role in the Beyoncé starring film Cadillac Records.
Cecila Stalin now teams up with Atlanta producer Khari Cabral Simmons for the beautiful collaboration EP The Story of Love. Packed with the sounds of lush jazz, soul and Brazilian rhythms, Stalin and Simmons brilliantly reworks tracks like Seawind’s “He Loves You”, as well as Jon Lucien’s “A Sunny Day”, originally featured on his 1974 LP “Mind’s Eye”. Producer Daz-I-Kue also lends his musical magic to the EP. Demonstrating a high level of mastery, this is Cecilia Stalin and Khari Cabral Simmons both at their finest.
