A-Minor is the musical alias of 25-year old Londoner Amin Hamzianpour. Although originally gaining a buzz via his YouTube production tutorials, A-Minor officially stepped into the spotlight last year with his track “Thinking Bout The Things”, not to mention dropping a slew of killer remixes including tracks by Bipolar Sunshine, Aaliyah and Yousef & The Angel. A-Minor now hits us with a slick and sophisticated future house song entitled “Someone You Love” featuring the singing talents of Ruby Wood of Submotion Orchestra. The cut is a precursor to his next single “Be Mine”, out next year on Ministry of Sound.
Regarding the tune “Someone You Love”, A-Minor wrote:
“Ruby Wood (of Submotion Orchestra) and I actually wrote this in the first session we had together. I had some basic chords laid down and it was just one of those songs that came to us very quickly and was a lot of fun to write. She has such a sultry tone and it just made sense to capture that vibe on the track. That’s probably why the production ended up being a bit different to most of the stuff I’ve put out because I wanted to stay true to her vocal.”
