London band Wild Beasts connects with legendary techno pioneer Juan Atkins for a remix of their song “Mecca”, taken from their album “Present Tense”. Juan gives it to them Detroit style, taken it back to the techno sound reminiscent of his classic Cybotron project. Futuristic with that Detroit swing, the track also has a Chicago acid feel embedded. Juan Atkins’ version along with a remix by SOHN will be included in the “Mecca” single release landing August 4th on Domino Recordings.
