Perera Elsewhere is the solo project of Jahcoozi vocalist Sasha Perera aka Mother Perera. The UK born, Germany based artist helped to establish a foundation of grime and dubstep in Berlin with her Grimetime radio show years back. Her work with Jahcoozi experimented with multiple textures of electronic music, not to mention she has traveled to Kenya, working with many of local emcees.

With her latest single “Bizarre”, Perera takes a step back from her known sound of bass shaking electronica to a more minimal and acoustic feel. The track is taken from the forthcoming “Bizarre” EP which is out 8th September. Perera Elsewhere’s album “Everlast” lands on the 28th of October on the Friends of Friends label.
