The Ibiza International Music Summit stands as one of the top events globally as artists, managers, label executives and active participants in the music industry, come together to discuss ideas ranging from marketing down to technological advances that are helping to shape the business. Held at the Ibiza Gran Hotel on the 22nd to the 24th of May and hosted by the legendary Pete Tong, this year’s IMS speakers include Fatboy Slim (legends award recipient), Paul Van Dyke, Idis Elba, Sven Väth, Ultra Records owner Patrick Moxey and more. The music event heats up with acts such as Maya Jane Coles, Scuba, Tensnake and some of the biggest and respectable names in electronica playing live. Some of the key discussions of the 2013 panel will include the focus on Germany’s market, the changing of the Ibiza soundscape, women in the industry and other thought provoking topics that are of importance in today’s music environment. As many of the clubs on the island gear up for the summer season, IMS is the starting point, establishing the climate for the magic that is set to come.
