Portland band Rare Monk share their new single ‘California’, which is taken from their upcoming self-titled EP, out November 20th on B3SCI Records. Whilst the title would suggest sunnier content, the lyrics address the current destroying of the earth by man’s own misuse.

Regarding the song, lead singer Dorian Aites wrote:

“California’ is about mankind’s exploitation and misuse of the planet on which we live, how without serious, immediate change to our society on a global scale we will bring about the self-extermination of our species.”
