The country of Norway may not be known to the rest of the world as a go to spot for reggae, but Ellen Sofie Mosebekk better known as Ellis is combining a bit of Nordic style with the sounds of Jamaica for her debut track ‘Ja Ja’, a cover of Johnny Osbourne’s ‘Jah Promise’. Produced by Snasen, Ellis sings in Norwegian over the sun-soaked dub reggae rework. With a voice that is smooth as honey, we’re excited to see that Ellis has coming in the near future. Have a listen.
