Atlanta’s Raury taps into a particular vibration that evokes the spirit of Nina Simone in his latest song and video ‘Devil’s Whisper’. What initially begins as a party, transforms into an initiation that resembles a Baptism in which young people are joining the side of the devil. Seeing of reflection of himself in the pack, Raury combats the action by stepping on stage and delivering a message to the now generation that are choosing to follow the wickedness, often emulated by their very own idols. ‘Devil’s Whisper’ is directed by Andrew Donoho.
