The Academic Unveil ‘Mixtape 2003’ Track

Whilst a title such as 'Mixtape 2003' would lead one to believe that the song could be Hip-Hop related, it's actually the new indie-driven single by Irish band The Academic. Bursting with an explosion of rock with a pop appeal, the song follows The Academic's 2015 'Loose Friends' EP. Produced by Philip Magee, the song will be available August 12th. The Academic will is currently on tour throughout the UK and Ireland. Check the listings below for dates and venues.

Stream New Portals x The Jepettos’ EP ‘VCR & Chill’

Having gained praises for their work in The Jepettos, brother/sister duo Mike and Ruth Aicken now bring the band and their New Portals group together on one platform with the EP 'VCR & Chill'. The concept behind the new record is a select batch of New Portals tracks now remixed with The Jepettos resulting in a beautiful twist of indie folk and creamy, delicate pop. The project is a fine showcasing of the versatility of styles that the Aicken siblings have under their sleeves.
