Port of Spain Share Their Latest Pop Track ‘Machine’

Port of Spain is the Sydney-based duo consisting of Amy Rose and Julian Ainslie. Whilst the pair may not have loads of tracks floating about, their latest song ‘Machine’ is definitely a whale of an electronic pop cut. PVT ‘Morning Mist, Rock Island Bend’ Video

With their upcoming album ‘New Spirit’ set to drop on February 17th, Sydney group PVT unveil a new video for their song titled ‘Morning Mist, Rock Island Bend’. Directed by Mclean Stephenson, the 9 minute vid features a guy who heads off into the forest to be one with nature, escaping his normal life. In the process, he literally adapts to his surrounding by dressing like a bush and doing things to now completely fit into this new habitat.

Listen to Mara’s Latest Single ‘Pool’

Based in Sydney, musician and singer Mara jumped into the scene with her 2014 LP ‘Get Lost in the Night’. Following up with her ‘COvers’ EP and more, she is now poised to release her forthcoming album ‘liquid’ on October 20th. The first track taken from the LP is the airy piece ‘Pool’. Listen to Alphamama’s Fiery ‘Ass In The Front’

What happens when you have a female emcee whose sex appeal is just as strong, if not stronger than any of the leading acts in Hip-Hop, r&b and pop, yet actually has a rebel spirit that completely contrasts 90% of what’s out in the market? You get Australia’s Alphamama, who has recently shared her new track ‘Ass In The Front’, which is taken from her forthcoming EP ‘Honey Fire’. Based on the title, one could be easily tricked into thinking this a typical song about well, big butts. However, Alphamama drops a counter attack on stereotypes of how femininity is currently viewed in this day and age. Produced by Ahmed Sirour, the song is a hype dose of Hip-Hop packed with energy and skilled lyricism.

Made In Paris to Release ‘You’re Wrong’ EP

Whilst the name Made In Paris would lead one to believe that this is a French producer shaking things up in techno, it is actually the moniker of Sydney-based Paris Forscutt. The emerging star has been dropping some amazing records including ‘Your Body’ and her ‘Dancing In Dark’ EP. Forscutt now makes a return with her forthcoming EP titled ‘You’re Wrong’, out August 26th. Comprised of two tracks, the record is a dark and intense dealing of nocturnal techno lead by the charge of the title cut, uncompromising and deep. The b-side ‘Mystic Path’ follows suit, with a rumbling bass line, echoing synths and sparkling effects, making for arsenal on the dance floor. ‘You’re Wrong’ will get released via Forscutt’s label Upon Access.

Over the past couple of years Sydney-based singer Elizabeth Rose has recorded quite the interesting tunes that weave between the lanes of future soul, r&b and pop. Releasing her self-titled EP in 2014, Rose worked with producers such as M-Phazes, pumping out some really stealth material.

Back with her new song, Elizabeth Rose teams up with REMI for the summery and bouncy r&b laced bit ‘Playing With Fire’. The tune is featured on Rose’s forthcoming debut LP ‘INTRA’, out March 4th.
